Quiet Power Strategy by Tara Gentile
"You won’t find the success you’re looking for in the Noise. It’s only when you get quiet and find your own path to your vision that you can create the wealth, peace, and ease you truly crave."

I am also taking one of Tara’s CreativeLive classes. I love her calm, practical approach to issues that trouble every small businessperson, as well as her pure belief in every person’s unique gifts. My goal is to become quiet enough in all things so I can always find my personal vision.

Dune by Frank Herbert
"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.”

I grew up reading sci-fi/fantasy, yet never read Dune until this year! I perceived it as a dry, technical story; and while it has those elements, at heart it is a thorough examination of human nature against a galactic backdrop. I too practice letting fear pass through me.

Saga Volume 4 by Brian K Vaughan and Fiona Staples
“Doesn't matter if it's personal or professional, a good partnership takes work.”

Actually, I am finishing up a re-read of Saga vol. 3 in preparation for vol. 4, but I am so close to starting! I love many comics, yet collect few to read over and over again; Saga is one of my favorite epic illustrated stories.
