Yesterday, after a breakfast of french toast casserole, we ventured out into downtown Denver. We had a short parking adventure then hoofed it to the Denver Art Museum.
Their collections are wide ranging and eloquently curated. The Western Art exhibits were especially worth seeing.
They had some European pieces that were particularly exciting, including a Robert Peake portrait.
Instead of a fancy dinner out on the town, we opted for a fancy lunch at the museum cafe. I now need to learn how to make soft egg ravioli because they are delicious.
Post museum we wandered around downtown Denver until our feet hurt too much. Then we settled into a vodka bar until it was time to go home.
Today is a lazy day at the condo; pajamas and board games hooray!
